Ever since Adella was born I would sing her songs from The Wizard of Oz, and she knew them so well that we decided to show her the movie. Which has been on repeat for a couple of weeks now. She is obsessed. Tutu surprised her with "ruby shoes" and a "ruby dress" that has yet to leave her body. We have to really negotiate removing the dress for a bath, and the shoes were in bed with her until we realized she was slipping them on in the middle of the night. It's so cool to watch her fall in love with everything OZ, as it is still one of my most favorite movies. She sings and dances around all day mimicking all of Glinda and Dorothy's movements.
We are always catching her checking out her shoes, and even had to change a dress because she couldn't see them.
