Adella's 3rd Birthday!!

Adella is 3!!!

We hosted a small "Princess Party" for Adella and her best friends on her birthday this year. It was the first real birthday party that we've had for her, so we decided to make it as girly and pink as possible! Princess Cinderella was kind enough to celebrate with us and kept the kids entertained for almost 2 hours. She was bombarded by the kids upon entering, they were all so excited to see a REAL princess! Cinderella read them stories, sang to them (she had a BEAUTIFUL voice) taught them how to be princesses, and did their make-up. And she never once broke character, we were amazed!! Adella was thrilled with everything, and Nolan slept through most of it ;o). All of the parents who came enjoyed some light appetizers and.... a keg! I had a blast planning this party for her, and Tim supported all of my crazy idea's. Here are photo's of all the decorations, and a separate post of the kids will follow. Enjoy!

Adella's First Movie

Tim and I took Adella on a little date night to go see her first movie in a theatre this past weekend. We saw the new Pooh movie and had cheeseburgers with no cheese after. I had a hard time getting a good photo of her in the theatre, she was too distracted and kept saying "This is the BIGGEST TV I never sawd!".

10 Months

Hi. Here is Nolan's 10 month photo, one month too late. As everyone knows, he is now walking... almost running, and can reach things on the kitchen counter. He can open all of the doors, and loves playing in the toilet. I've caught him making his way outside a few times, so we are sure to always keep our doors locked now :) . He's started talking a lot more, and loves anything with a baby on it. Toys aren't that interesting anymore, Nolan would much rather get into a drawer full of pots and pans, or try to make a break for the stairs if he sees that we left the gate open. Adella is still the apple of his eye, and she can make him laugh like no other... 11 month photo coming soon....!
