4 Weeks

It's been 4 weeks now with little Nolan home and quite the adjustment! He is a great baby, eats well, sleeps relatively well, and puts up with all the smothering he receives from his older sister. Adella has been...pretty good too :). She wants to help with everything, which is nice when I need a diaper but difficult when it comes to nursing. I feel badly that we haven't been running around going to parks and doing all the fun things we normally do, but in time we will be back to our old routine. Luckily our family has been really helpful taking Adella places and spoiling her. Nolan had his 1 month appointment today and he already weighs 11.5 lbs!! The boy can eat, and luckily there is more than enough milk to go around... a freezer full!!

Newborn Photo's Sneak Peek

We had the wonderful Ginette Sundin at Sundin Photography take some newborn photo's of Nolan when he was just 10 days old. I think she is genuinely the nicest person I know, and is extremely talented!! I will post a link to the gallery once it's available, if anyone would like to order prints. MIMI'S SHOES

I need to share this with everyone. As most of you know, Adella refers to me as her "Mimi" and I love it. I hope she always calls me Mimi, and I plan for it to be my Grandma name when the time comes. J.Crew has a new book called "Mimi's Shoes", which is about the relationship between a Grandmother and Granddaughter, and their love for shoes. Adella and I make sure to read it 2 times every night before she goes to bed. I'm thinking I should probably invest in another copy to put away for the future...

Just a few hours after I gave birth, Adella came in to meet her new brother... First thing she said "MIMI!!!! Mimi's baby, I hold my baby" She already adores him.

I swear I'm not choking him, just burping. But Had to share those amazing cheeks that droop over my hands. And Adella really likes touching them.

I guess it's time to change the name of our blog.
